Matthew Croson is the Dean of Studies at Bard Baltimore. Before starting a near 20 year career teaching and managing schools in Baltimore, Mr. Croson was a professional archeologist specializing in the digital documentation and preservation of standing and archeologically discovered buildings. Mr. Croson holds a B.A. in Anthropology and Sociology from the National Public Honors College at St. Mary’s College of Maryland, a Master’s of Fine Arts Degree from the Savannah College of Art and Design and a postgraduate certificate in school leadership from the Johns Hopkins University. Mr. Croson is an early college student himself, having left high school early to attend college when he was 16 years old.
